So, I accidentally sent everyone the Sneak Peek chapters ON THE SAME DAY last week. But you all were so kind about it. I love this friends-to-more couple! Elijah is quiet and mysterious and Savannah is energetic and spontaneous. And their friendship goes back to college when they had a bigger friend group they were a part of. My husband and I were a “friends-to-more” love story ourselves so it’s a trope that is close to my heart.

I love writing clean fiction and the bandwidth it gives me to include different situations like Savannah’s desire to have a family though it’s not a traditional method. It’s something I wouldn’t get much leniency on in the Christian fiction market. I laughed out loud writing some of the parts to this book, especially the part about Savannah’s back. This last July I don’t know what I did, but I pulled something in my back and STRUGGLED for weeks. I stole my husband’s work back brace that he uses to support his back while doing heavy lifting and wore that for the duration and it helped, but I still had a really tough time. Oh, and we went on vacation to Colorado with our 4 kids during that time, too. So some of her back pain journey is what I went through, because never does an injury come at a convenient time. One day, it just miraculously clicked back into place and I had all movement again. Thank you, Lord!

I hope you enjoy their friends-to-more (some call it friends-to-lovers) romance as much as I enjoyed writing it. I already have Wrecked, book 5, written. Just need to edit it. And hope to get started on book 6, Secured, very soon to wrap up all the loose ends while we follow Shane and Ava finaallllyyyyy getting together. Or do they?
